The EDD created the DE 2320 - For Your Benefit, California’s Program for the Unemployed to explain employees’ rights to UI, SDI and paid family leave (PFL).
When discharging, laying off or placing an employee on a leave of absence, you must provide that employee with written notice of thier UI benefit rights by providing the DE 2320 - For Your Benefit, California’s Program for the Unemployed pamphlet.
